The purpose of this corporation shall be to promote and protect the interests of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender lawyers and to achieve their full participation in all rights, privileges and benefits of the legal profession; to promote the efficient administration of justice and the constant improvement of the law, especially as it relates to lesbians, gay men, bisexual and transgender individuals; to advocate the selction of qualified lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgender individuals to the bench and other positions relative to the administration of the law and justice; to promote and advocate the representation and participation of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals in their efforts to establish a career in the legal profession; and to educate the public and disseminate information on issues related to lesbians', gay men's, bisexuals' and transgender  individuals' participation in the legal and judicial system.
